Standing Strong Together

FIND a Local Community of Practice

Peer Mentoring Program

We are grateful to be working alongside an evolving number of educators, facilitators, and peer mentoring sites. It is inspiring to see how each community co-creates a unique learning network guided by their local context, relationships, needs, and experiences.

Map of BC with the 32 communities outlined on it

When we view this map, a colonial structure, and reflect on the lands on which peer mentoring groups are gathering, we center ourselves in ECEBC’s deepest respect and gratitude for the privilege of residing, growing, and learning from First Peoples who have stewarded and cared for ancestorial traditional lands, waters, and communities since time immemorial. We also recognize and respect the enduring presence of the Métis and Inuit people in British Columbia. We acknowledge that this comes with a responsibility, at an individual and collective level, to work towards Truth, and then Reconciliation.

If a local Peer Mentoring Community of Practice (CoP) is listed in your area and you’re interested in joining as a participant/peer mentor, please reach out to peermentoring@ecebc.ca to check for availability.

If no spaces are available, we will add your name to a waitlist and look forward to welcoming you in the future when a spot opens.

If you do not see a CoP in your area and are interested in starting or facilitating one, contact us to learn more about the program and add your community to the waitlist. We aim to expand the program and reach more communities with each cycle.
