Job Description

Position Start:
As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, preparing and implementing age-appropriate activities based on children's individual development and interests
- Observe and document children's progress and participate in program planning as required
- Supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Ensuring children's safety and well-being
- Assisting children with daily care routines
- Light housekeeping duties to ensure program facilities and equipment are safe and clean
Qualifications:
Basic ECE
Additional Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education Certificate required
- A Criminal Record Check clearance letter
- Current First Aid certificate required
- Ability to provide satisfactory references
- Understanding of Emergent Curriculum/Reggio Emilia Philosophy
- Effective guiding and caring skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be passionate about the job
- Strong work ethic
Required Experience:
- Experience working with children in a childcare center
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Salary & Benefits:
- $25-$27 per hour with wage enhancement included
- Full-time (30-40 hours per week)
- 3 month probationary period with payroll and benefits for the right-fit staff
