Job Posting: Cortes Island Playschool Facilitator - Early Childhood Educator / Early Childhood Educator Assistant - Summer Start
$28-$32 per hour based on qualifications and experience. 15 - 37.5 hours per week
The Southern Cortes Community Association runs a community centre at the core of Manson’s Landing on Cortes Island. The Cortes Playschool, licensed for up to 12 children, has been a long-standing part of this community hub. Now offering $10/day childcare, we are growing fast to meet the demand and need some bright new energy. We are looking to add some members to our team, especially through the summer months of 2026, with ongoing work opportunities thereafter. Cortes is a wonderful place to live, work, play, and raise a family.
The Cortes Playschool program serves children between the ages of 30 months to school age. It emphasizes outdoor play, child-led learning, and fostering strong social and emotional development in a safe and engaging environment. We are looking for team members who love kids, are great team players and bring a calm although playful energy with them.
3 month probationary period with payroll and benefits for the right fit facilitators.
