Community Campus Children’s Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Education (ECE) Manager to lead Kids on Campus Children’s Centre. The ECE Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the centre, supporting educators, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
Qualifications:
Other: Valid BC Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate to practice, ECE Infant/Toddler and/or Special Needs certificate to practice (Infant/Toddler or Special Needs certificate to practice considered an asset)Â
Additional Qualifications:
- Valid BC Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate to practice, ECE Infant/Toddler and/or Special Needs certificate to practice (Infant/Toddler or Special Needs certificate to practice considered an asset)
- Strong knowledge of BC childcare licensing regulations and early learning framework (ELF)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with staff scheduling and program administration
- Valid First Aid certification
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience preferred in a leadership or supervisory role in a childcare setting working with diverse families and community partners
Salary & Benefits:
- Base wage: $24.28–$25.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with total compensation up to $33.28–$34.00/hour including wage enhancements

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the childcare centre
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ECE staff
- Ensure compliance with provincial licensing regulations and centre policies
- Support program planning and high-quality early learning experiences
- Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with families, staff and KOC Board and community partners
- Manage staff scheduling and support professional development
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced childcare environment
- Proficiency with technology and childcare management software (e.g., digital attendance, parent communication apps, documentation
