Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) – Peachland, BC
$20/hour | Mondays (9-hour shift)
Peachland Childcare Inc. is seeking a reliable and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) to join our warm, community-focused in-home childcare program.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children in a supportive, play-based environment and is looking for consistent weekly hours.
Position Details
Location: Peachland, BC
Schedule: Mondays (9-hour shift) 7:30am to 4:30pm
Starting Wage: $20/hour
Additional substitute/on-call hours may be available.
Responsibilities
Support daily routines and programming
Supervise and engage children (ages 1–5) in play-based activities
Assist with outdoor play, walks, and park visits
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
Support children’s emotional well-being and social development
Follow licensing and health and safety requirements
Follow a daily schedule
Qualifications
Valid ECEA Certificate (BC) **must have**
Current First Aid and CPR (Child Care level)
Clear Criminal Record Check
Reliable, punctual, and caring
Experience with young children is an asset
No vehicle required however must be able to get to and from Peachland
