*What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement high-quality programming aligned with the CEFA curriculum
  • Support children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
  • Assess children’s interests and needs, and communicate progress with families
  • Foster independence and self-help skills
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and team members
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Uphold CEFA’s mission, vision, values, and professional standards

 

Qualifications:

Basic ECE

Years Experience Required:

1

Required Experience:

 

  • Valid ECE and/or Infant/Toddler (I/T) Certificate License
  • 2+ years childcare experience (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Familiar with current BC Licensing Regulations
  • Knowledge of Montessori & Reggio Emilia methodologies (preferred)
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: $28–$30/hour (depending on experience, includes WE)

  • Schedule: 7:30am – 5:00pm (shifts vary within hours of operation)
