We are hiring for part-time and full-time Early Childhood Educators or Assistants for permanent positions in our 3-5 Program.
Early childhood educators plan, organize and implement programs for children between the ages of infancy and 5 years. Working as a team, Early childhood educators and assistants lead children in activities to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical and emotional growth and ensure their security and well-being. The main duties include:
- Developing and implementing the child-care program
- Leading activities, both individual and as group activities
- Guiding and assisting children in their development
- Planning and maintaining an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of the children
- Establishing and maintaining a collaborative relationship with co-workers and parents
Requirements:
- Valid BC License to Practice
- Valid first aid/CPR certificate
- Clear criminal record check
- References
